Joseph Lawwill, Jennifer Tonda, and Stoughton Conn Join Falcon Square Fixed Income Sales/Trading Division

RALEIGH, N.C.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Falcon Square Capital is pleased to announce the establishment of its first West Coast office, which is located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Joseph (Joe) C. Lawwill, Jennifer (Jen) Tonda and Stoughton (Sto) Conn have joined the firm’s Fixed Income Sales/Trading Division as part of Falcon Square’s strategy to strengthen its Investment Grade and High Yield Credit businesses. The West Coast office will expand the institutional client base of Falcon Square in the West and Midwest regions of the United States.

Joe Lawwill: Lawwill brings over 15 years of High Yield Trading and analysis to Falcon Square Capital. As a former Managing Director at Stone & Youngberg, Lawwill was the Head Trader of Taxable Fixed Income overseeing Investment Grade Corporates, High Yield Corporates, ABS, Preferreds, and Structured Products across the New York, San Francisco and Chicago offices.

Jennifer Tonda: Tonda brings over 20 years of fixed income sales and trading experience to Falcon Square Capital. Previously, she was Director of Taxable Trading at Crowell, Weedon & Co., Vice President of Corporate Trading at Stone Youngberg, and Senior Corporate Bond Trader at Charles Schwab. Tonda’s background includes Corporate Bonds, Certificates of Deposit, Structured Products, and foreign-denominated Corporate Bonds.

Stoughton Conn: Conn brings 40 years of fixed income sales experience to Falcon Square Capital. She was formerly in institutional sales with Crowell, Weedon & Co., Oppenheimer, Stone & Youngberg, and Commerce Capital Markets Group. Conn attributes the length and success of her career to good friends and an ability to adapt through constant market changes.
